“ Was in the downtown area and mistakenly passed this place up due to all the construction going on. Anyways looked rustic with outside seating. Looking for the front it's looks pretty small but it's not. There is plenty of parking and seating in the back. Was waiting in line for a few minutes but the staff were fast and friendly. I ordered two burritos thinking they were going to be small. They were filled with meat! The potatoes salad was delicious too. The brisket meat was tender and delicious and not dry at all. Will hit this place up again soon! ”

“ Everything is solid. Everything has a lot of flavors. Only outdoors, we were comfortable with the heaters when it was 50 degrees. No kid friendly sides. Turkey was good for the kiddos. ”

“ I arrived to Reese Bros BBQ on a Sunday at 1035 and was the FIRST in line. However, not long after a plethora of people arrived. I was with a group of 4, including myself and we ordered brisket, ribs, sausage, carnitas, poblano mac, potato salad, and cobbler. All the protein portions were very good! I would say the carnitas were my favorite 5/5. The poblano mac was my favorite side hands down. Just the right amount of cheese and spices. I'm not a fan of potato salad but the group said it was great so I'll take their word. The cobbler was exceptional and ended the lunch outing with a chef's kiss. The service was phenomenal - everyone was so polite and welcoming. As of December 2024, all seating is outside - just in case you need to adjust for weather. There are plenty of tables and chairs and I believe occupancy can accommodate greater than 150 people. Additionally, they have a bar with liquor and a few beers on tap, two restrooms and two parking lots. One lot is located on Hoefgen Ave, which is small, and the other is located on Virginia Blvd, which you can enter the back of the restaurant from that lot. Overall a great place to eat and I really appreciated the hospitality from the staff. Peace. ”

“ Excellent BBQ. It was literally my first stop on my San Antonio work trip and met my expectations for greatness. Seasoned to the gods, smoked to the heavens, you cannot go wrong. Of course the service was top notch and kept the line moving and love the southern hospitality. I showed up on Saturday around 1pm and the only thing sold out was sausage. Pineapple margaritas were delicious and strong. Closes when everything is sold out. Highly recommend! ”

“ Probably one of the best BBQ experiences I've had in Texas. Dare I say, better than Terry Black's? There was a line already before it was open and you could tell a lot of these people were locals so you know it's legit. They have a huge outdoor space and a private parking lot which is super convenient. Food was amazing. Their brisket was super tender and tasty even without their sauce. The meat to fat ratio was also high. The queso fundido sausage was just and carnitas were super moist. 10/10 would recommend. They offer a 10% military discount ”

“ I went on a weekday at around 11:30am. I was worried it would be majorly packed, but luckily the line wasn't too bad. Overlal I waited maybe 10-15 minutes and after ordering my food came out very quickly. I got turkey, brisket, ribs, and some sausage and our favorites was the brisket and the turkey! We were really surprised about the turkey as I sort of expected it to be dry and almost didn't order it. But instead, it was moist with a wonderful mild smoky flavor. My daughter who is 5 years old and notoriously picky actually liked it a lot which was a wonderful surprise. Some of the brisket was fatty which in my opinion was the best pieces. I think I spent a bit over $100 but I was visiting San Antonio and I figured this was a destination in itself to enjoy some top notch world class barbeque. Excellent place, I'd go again!! I really like the atmosphere of the place, there were a lot of people sitting at the tables having a great time. We did takeout though so didn't sit down. ”
